Rules and safety
I will start off by saying Kiteboarding is an inherently dangerous sport. Just like many other extreme sports the potential for getting injured is always there. In order to stay as safe as possible I suggest that you read and understand all of the information on this page as well as the other pages of this site. It also may be necessary to hire an instructor or work with someone who is already involved in the sport as you begin. Although it is possible to learn to kiteboard through information found or purchased through the web it is also very helpful to either take lessons or learn in the presence of those who have already learned.
