Kiteboarding Equipment
The variety of available equipment for Kiteboarding today is huge. Here I will show you the equipment necessary to kiteboard as well as other optional equipment which can improve your experience and provide safety.
Equipment necessary for Kiteboarding:

- Board
- Harness
- Pump
- Safety leash
You will need all of this equipment to begin Kiteboarding. The price range for this equipment can be anywhere from 1000$-3000$ depending on what equipment you pick and if it has been used or is new. Newer equipment is more expensive were as older equipment will cost less depending on amount of use, prior rips, fading, and overall condition.
To improve your experience and increase your safety I recommend that you consider some if not all of this optional equipment. For example if you live in a location with cold water your going to want at least a wetsuit if not gloves and booties as well. Believe me there is nothing worse then having a bad day kiting because you’re either freezing cold the whole time or having to come in from great day with perfect conditions because you can’t stand the cold water.
